For Christmas I got Kyle a homebrew kit from Brooklyn Brew Shop. We finally got around brewing today. The cool thing about the kit is that you brew one gallon, opposed to the typical five gallon. Not only does this make it a lot less scary, but we just cleared a little spot in cabinet for our beer to hang out for a couple of weeks. The whole process was pretty simple, the directions that came with the kit were very clear. But we have to wait four weeks to find out if our beer is any good!
An iced latte and an americano to get us going.

At this point it sort of smelled like beer? Also, sort of smelled like animal feed and socks.
Let's hope this guy is nice and foamy in a couple of days!
